Well, it has been awhile since I posted, just before Thanksgiving to be exact, and now here it is right before Christmas. We are trying our best to weather the weather and the economy. Winning the lottery wouldn't be so bad.
Son arrived from New York with all his boxes in tow on Friday evening. We are taking his car to be serviced this afternoon. He has plans of taking a semester off from college and making a tour around the country to visit some other schools. He feels this is the key to his happiness. If I were younger I would probably think that too and if I were younger maybe he would listen to me, but I am not younger and I can't tell him what I know to be true, because he is not really ready to hear it, not that I won't try, you know? Jeez, I sound like my parents. One tiny part of me is jealous and wish I were young again and could play Don Quixote and and just travel around for awhile.
Anyways, me and the old guy are mostly fine. The real estate business has been rather slow so Skooter took another job for now. I am still teaching and I still love my job even though I am mostly exhausted, oh except I am off for two weeks, yay!
Hope the holidays finds you all well... enjoy the spirit of hope and faith.
Peace, Love and Energy,
Tricia

I think we all wish we were younger.
Hope you have a Merry Christmas! Younger would work. Ah to be 21 again and know what I know now.
*sparkleMerry Christmas. May you have the best Christmas ever. Judi
Merry Christams. May God's grace be in your weathering.
Nice to hear from you Trica. Judi
Ahhh to be younger. Right now I'd settle for "thinner"...LOL..
God Bless you & your family during this Holiday season & a happy, healthy new year too!
Hi Tricia, Wow, what a treat seeing you post today and then visit my site!!! RYC lol, you made me realize what a golden opportunity that i missed. Can you believe that this cagey, sneaky, opportunity seeking husband with the wife, with a one tract mind, FAILED TO TAKE HER BREAKFAST IN BED!!!!! How dumb can I get. She would have been so appreciative. However, I did take her a tray of beverage, mixed nuts, napkin etc last night. She really like that a lot, then said she would sleep on the LazyBoy due to thinking she might have the flu. She did not.
Oh well, maybe next time.
About your posts--I bet real estate is really slow--This is got to be one of the roughest times ever for real estate.
I am so like you about the son--I would love to just jump in the car and take off traveling, go to Hawaii for a month, enjoy the palm trees on the beach, eat at Dukes, visit Pam in L.A., eat on the beach. go to great Churches around the country and live like a free spirit.
Unfortunately, my wife lives that way. lol Really!! Because I was too ambitious in my career, worked long hours, I had Norma take off the Hawaii for two weeks at a time, visit her mom and friends all around the country.
I wish you son well. It is so easy to stop going to school!! I know about not talking as a parent. lol We have no credibility until they are around 40, and then it is limited. lol
You cheered me up. Thanks
Blessings
frank
If he's going to do that, he must do it now. Once you get into life, those opportunities are gone.
Have a very Merry Christmas!!
(((hugs)))) love ya! good to see you ! glad you have a busy life! lotsa love
I wish I had toured the country when I was younger. I should still do it but darn these responsibilities! lol
Hope you have a Merry Christmas!
Dear Trish, Merry Christmas...been a while since I've been around, but think of you and wish you peace and love...Lowie
