Happy New Year 2009
Another year has come and gone, wow. I always wonder where has the time gone, and more recently, or as I get older, how much more time will we have or want. The world is a crazy place these days. I think you have to be a young buckin' bronc to take on the trials and tribulations facing our planet earth. I am glad I am not a young person, I think. Anyway, best wishes, health, peace and prosperity to you all in the year 2009.
Peace, Love and Energy,
Tricia

I'm looking forward to another great year. I hope you all have a wonderful, happy New Year.
How is the boy doing? Is he going back to Cornell?
You say that one would have to be a young buckin' bronc to take on the things this earth is facing now. I started looking at "buckin' bronc." I understand where that expression comes from. (I also know that you have not always lived in Texas.) For some reason I thought about the line from Don McLean's "American Pie" in which he says, "I was a lonely teenage broncin' buck...." I NEVER, until right now, realized what McLean did with that expression. Now, I have to study the lyrics of the song yet again to see if that is some kind of clue to another level of meaning. Sigh. No, I'll not do that. I'll enjoy my holidays and wish for you a surprisingly wonderful new year.
It has flown! I am shocked that this year is almost over.
Good to see you on Xanga again, Tricia.
I'm wishing the best for you and your loved ones in 2009.
I guess I'm gonna hafta start singing "Hard Times" again as my prayer for another year.
~~Blessings, prayers 'n cheers

All the best for 2009.
best wishes for the new year!
I am glad to be no broncin' buck (though I was never a buck, I'm a doe winky) too, but am glad that we are here to lend some stability to those younger ones leading us into the future. May you have a blessed New Year!
Happy New Year, sweety, and stop calling yourself old, we ladies never get old, we just mature
So what if your body doesn't respond to your will? You're still young and never let anyone say anything else.
Have a great 2009!
Somebody played Prince's (Party Like It's)1999 today. Remember when that was so far off? I was a teenager, and thought it would be forever till it got there! I would be in my THIRTIES by then!!!
Now it is ten years later, and I am in my forties... where did the time go - both BEFORE and AFTER 1999?
HAPPY NEW YEAR my dear!
(((New Year Hugs)))
There seems to be a common undercurrent in all the pages I read and people I talk to of an angst about the future.
As Yoda would say 'cloudy the future is'
How you doing Tricia

Hey Trish, miss you! Hope that you are doing well both physically and mentally. There is a lot of blah going around xanga lately. Of course some people are in Hawaii making the rest of us jealous! LOL Well, take care!
Still working on that resolution. I have my unicycle. I have the inner tube for the tire. Now I have to change the inner tube. I don't know how. Thank god a new years resolution lasts a whole year.
You are missed~Dear Musical Writer!!! (((Angel Hugs & Love...)))
Hey Tricia! The new year is nearly 1/4 of year gone. How are you? I've missed you. Hope you are OK. Thought you might be on spring break about now.
~~Blessings, prayers 'n cheers
Greetings dear friend!
I felt led to give you some encouragement today:
Some day you will see the glory of God
in the things which you do not understand.
"If we could push ajar the gates of life,
And stand within, and all God's working see,
We might interpret all this doubt and strife,
And for each mystery could find a key.
"But not today.
Then be content, brave heart;
God's plans, like lilies pure and white, unfold.
We must not tear the close-shut leaves apart-- Time will reveal the calyxes of gold.
"And if, through patient toil, we reach the land
Where tired feet, with sandals loosed, may rest,
When we shall clearly know and understand,
I think that we shall say, 'God knew best."'
God's best blessings to you,
Pastor Doug
